So, neither one of us grew up going to the fair and we're not really "fair people" per se. But, we decided that should we ever move from Texas (please please please) we would want for Rhys to have experienced the Great Fair of Texas. Yee haw.
We walked around a-lot. We tried to see the bird show (Rhys loves the birts and awks), but Rhys was just too tired. We did get to see Big Tex, bunny rabbits, a butter sculpture, sand castles, and, most importantly, eat the yummy fair food. That's why I went. ; )
Rhys was super excited to see the ba-tub.
Big Tex. You can hear his voice on the state fair website. Rhys wanted to play it over and over and over.
Rhys's first corny dog.
He loved it.
Mommy's first corny dog. (yes, really)
Another ba-tub.
They had so many cute little bunnies.
Sculpture entirely of butter.
First taste of cotton candy. Big smiles!

Love all of the pictures...especially the new header. Only in Texas do they call them corny dogs. How are you doing?
